Katy’s Quilt by Victoria

Every year when Vicki returns to England to visit her relatives she brings a quilt for one of her cousins.  Victoria is very generous and very ambitious - this very large scrappy quilt was made for her cousin Katy.

The pantograph Chantilly Lace by Norma Sharp, which Vicki chose, is a lovely compliment to this quilt.

I love scrappy quilts and really enjoyed all the fabrics while quilting Katy’s quilt.

Giving is a game in which both sides walk away winners.

This lovely quilt called Sweet Pea was made as a wedding gift for Lynda’s son Paul and her daughter-in-law Heather, the pattern is by Heather Mulder Peterson.

Lynda chose the Spirals pantograph by Denise Schillinger and a Cloud thread (a soft aqua marine colour) lovely complements to the quilt design and fabric colour.

I know that a lot of love went into every piece of this gift.

There is nothing we can offer to others more precious than our talents.
