Wonky Churn Dash in Purple

Such a busy week, I managed to get a couple of Wonky Churn Dash blocks completed last week and saved them so that I would have a something for this week’s Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  For some reason this block reminds me of hash tags, what do you think?

Today I’m on my way to teach the second class of beginning quilting at a local quilt shop called Out of Hand, I love turning people on to quilting.  I will take pictures and do a blog post so do check back to see the amazing results.

If you want to see more purple fun wander over to Soscrappy, enjoy.

Red Wine and White Wine quilt by Donna

Donna is so creative with her quilt ideas; this jelly roll race quilt, in the colours of wine, is going to be used as a campfire quilt.  Sounds cozy and fun, some wine, a few good stories and jokes and a coordinating quilt.

Staying on a theme Donna used this great wine cork fabric for the back of the quilt.

We used the Double Plume pantograph by Keryn Emmerson and a maroon, or should I say burgundy coloured thread.
