Soscrappy’s
Angela has chosen green for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge for the month of
August.
For this
first Saturday in August I made one more block for my Black and White Crazy
quilt. This is a project which has been
sitting on the shelf for quite some time and for some reason I haven’t been
motivated with it. Each block has black on white, and white on black with a touch of colour, perhaps this month I can
get a bunch of green done….

I also made a
couple of slabs following Cheryl’s quilt ‘The missing U’ found in from CherylArkison and Amanda Jean Nyberg’s Sunday Morning Quilts book.
Be sure to
check out my last blog post, as it was my 200th post and there is a
Giveaway.
Remember people will see your
quilts long after you are gone, not your housework.
I bet that is going to look spectacular in a quilt. Pops of color here and there. Will you embellish your blocks first?
ReplyDeleteOh you are sooo right! Who will even remember housework...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteWhat's housework. It's always there when you want yo do some
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white and punch of colour crazy quilt block. Making slabs is so much fun! Yours look lovely in green. Good movement in the blocks.
ReplyDeleteI like the missing u blocks. Looks like lots of greens used up.
