Friday nights are my nights to sew on my projects, I also
tune the radio in to the Campus station CJSW 90.9 FM and listen to an evening
of dance music, perhaps have a glass of wine, I sew until I can’t keep my eyes
open - my favourite night of the week. Last
night I finished a couple of Wonky Churn Dash blocks in lime green for the RainbowScrap Challenge.

I also sashed a Mile a Minute quilt with green.

And that took up my whole evening, so today I’m back to
long-arm quilting customer quilts, all is good.
Click on over to Soscrappy’s Rainbow Scrap Challenge to see
what others are doing with green, and perhaps join in the fun, a good way to
use up scraps and get things done.

thread.
Love your wonky churn dash blocks. So cute
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks and an interesting quilt - Mile a Minute. Interesting name.
ReplyDeleteNell, just another name for crumb, it goes together fast - a mile a minute.
DeleteSo many great scraps used up with your mile a minute quilt. The green sashings do a great job of tying it all together.
ReplyDeleteThat Mile a Minute quilt is looking great. Well done.
ReplyDeleteCute wonky churn dashes. Mile a Minute looks like a great way to use up crumbs and get a quilt in the end. Relaxing too, I'll bet.
ReplyDeleteYes relaxing, I love doing the Mile a Minute when I just want to sew and sew and sew, and not bother calculating and measuring and cutting.
