It's been a while, and I'm back with the hope of doing more blogging.
Starting this year with some blue Mile a Minute blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.
Blue Mile a Minute quilt blocks
Let's see what February brings for projects, finishes and colours of the rainbow.
There are a few quilt projects on the go, and I'm working on a Shop page (tab) for my blog, as this house has more quilts than it can use in a life-time and yet there's not much I like better than playing with fabric, sitting at my sewing machine and creating quilts. It's time to let some of them find new homes.
Quilting is my passion… chocolate comes in a close second.

Welcome back! The blue blocks are a great beginning for a new project.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! Fun blues you have to play with.
ReplyDeleteYes. Welcome back. Those mile a minute blocks look simple enough.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading more about your quilting adventures! Mile a minute blocks are my favorite to sew. I stretch them just a bit with an alternate square of fabric that creates a checkerboard look. I've made several encouragement\charity quilts using this method for my church's quilting ministry.
ReplyDeleteI love your Mile a Minute blocks. I call my similar blocks crumb blocks, but it looks as though yours are made with a pattern, or at least more intention than mine. Do you just assemble them as a wonky log cabins and sort of let the scraps “fall where they may”?
ReplyDeleteI like your passions, my list is just like yours, plus reading books!
ReplyDeleteYour MAM blocks are fabulous!!! Great way to clean up those scraps!
ReplyDeleteLove these blocks!!! I like how they turn out so random - have fun!!
