Flying Geese Quilt

This full size quilt by Terry Morberg, is classy, Christmas and a little whimsical.  Can you see the touch of whimsy?  Terry used the Fast Flying Geese method, a nice stable method for sewing those tri-angles with no fabric waste!

Flowing Feathers Pantograph

Terry chose the Flowing Feathers pantograph by Hermoine Agee and it was quilted with Garnet thread.

I always enjoy the calls overhead from groups of Canada Geese flying in V-shaped formation signal the transitions into spring and autumn.

Christmas Log Cabin Quilt

Diane created this charming Christmas Log Cabin quilt for her Christmas Craft Sales.  I think the appliquéd evergreens are a nice added touch.  I would find it hard to let this quilt go, however Diane is an amazing productive quilter and as well as keeping her family and friends in quilts, she still turns out many quilts and other items for her annual Christmas Sale.

Winter White pantograph

We chose the Winter White pantograph by Dave Hudson for the log cabin part of the quilt, the thread was Totem (green) by Fil-Tec, and Diane chose to meander around the Christmas trees.

In Germany, the first Christmas Trees were decorated with edible things, such as gingerbread and gold covered apples.

Strip Twist

Strip Twist Quilt

This eye catching Jelly Roll quilt made by Anna is called Strip Twist by GE Designs.  Anna has a fondness for leaves so we chose the pantograph Blowing in the Wind by Irene Steele which complemented the design, and a titanium coloured thread.  This quilt was a wedding gift for a friend.

Turquoise and Rust Quilt

Colleen made this lovely turquoise and rust quilt for her weekend getaway – a little piece of land not too far away.  We choose the pantograph ‘Popcorn’ by Jodi Beamish and Rust thread to complete this pretty little quilt.
