Wonky Churn Dash in Purple

Such a busy week, I managed to get a couple of Wonky Churn Dash blocks completed last week and saved them so that I would have a something for this week’s Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  For some reason this block reminds me of hash tags, what do you think?

Today I’m on my way to teach the second class of beginning quilting at a local quilt shop called Out of Hand, I love turning people on to quilting.  I will take pictures and do a blog post so do check back to see the amazing results.

If you want to see more purple fun wander over to Soscrappy, enjoy.

Comments left on this post will be entered in the draw for my 300th blog post giveaway. If you do not want to be entered in the draw please let me know in your comment, you can also enter through any blog post over the last week.  One lucky commenter will be picked tomorrow.

  1. I love how these are turning out. And I too love to teach quilting to others, to give them a lifelong skill. Always so much fun.

  4. Cute blocks. Have fun at class. My friend just took a beginning quilting class because I told her I'm too impatient to deal with her...she's a walking catastrophe when it comes to sewing!
