Polka Dot Quilt by Terry Morberg

Terry likes polka dots and whenever she goes into a quilt/fabric store if she can’t find something to add to her stash she looks for polka-dots.  What a great idea!

So many fun things in this quilt, I love the Kaffe Fassett target fabric in the border and the striped sashing.  We decided to further enhance the circle – polka-dot theme with a pantograph called Spirals by Denise Schillinger.  Quilted with rainbow variegated thread.

And here is the quilt on a deck chair at Terry’s.  This was one of those serendipitous moments, a couple of us went by Terry’s for a drink and some appies and we all turned up wearing orange - not a common colour.  I thought the occasion deserved a picture.

I don’t think there is ever a wrong time for a polka dot. ~ Marc Jacobs

  1. Very pretty. Love the stripes as the long sashing. Too funny you were all in orange. Must have been great minds thinking alike.

    1. Thanks Deb, this is a cute quilt. I often notice people and clothing colour however I agree the orange was too funny.
