Preparing and testing out more ideas for an Artisan sale in red, which is the
colour of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I saw this cute leaf potholder pattern on
Pinterest and decided to order it from Patchwork Pottery.
Here’s what the back looks like.
And a close-up of the cute buttons. The pattern says to sew them on with embroidery floss, however I think my son has borrowed/claimed mine!
I’m not sure about this idea yet, the first set seemed like a
lot of work, and I should have cut bias bindings (opps). I’m
also not sure about leafs in red, even though you will find them in nature. I’ll give these another try in next month’s
colour and then decide if I want to continue making them. Will they be a seller?
I want to be different. If everyone is wearing
black, I want to be wearing red. ~ Maria Sharapova
Those are so cute! What a fun idea!
ReplyDeleteI would buy those, Edith. The leaves look gorgeous in RED for this month's RSC!!
ReplyDeleteI love them. Without the loop they would make coasters or mug rugs too.
ReplyDeleteMost people will be buying them to match their kitchen, so it won't matter if a blue leaf isn't natural. I like them, I say forge ahead!
ReplyDeleteGreat potholders!
ReplyDeleteThose are really beautiful.
