Hunter’s Star

Carol first saw this quilt in a shop in Nova Scotia, and knew she had to make it. 
I think the ‘Blowing in the Wind’ pantograph by Irene Steele is a good choice, as these colours remind me of Autumn leaves.  The top thread is variegated thread called Sunset. 
And the  back shows off the thread called Lava. 
I know Carol, as so many quilter, gives most of her quilts away, I wonder who was the lucky recipient of this beauty?

  1. I tried one time to make a Hunter Star and the cutting directions were wrong. I will probably do another one next year. This one is absolutely beautiful with those colors!
