This week for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge I worked on my
little red four-patches for the Rainbow Rows Quilt by Lissa Alexander. The little squares are cut one and a half
inches, Lissa’s instructions call for 115 of the red four-patches for the queen
quilt, I completed 137. I made a few more
of each colour with the intention of also making a crib size quilt.

Only grey and orange four-patches left to complete the four-patches and then I can begin piecing the quilt top, so now I’m wondering what
colour Angela at soscrappy will be picking for the month of August.
I thought these little squares could use some red support,
so I’m including a picture with the red Gerbera daisies that my friend Wanda
gave me to celebrate my birthday earlier this month. The tile behind the daisies was a gift from
my friend Leslie, it says Joy in Chinese characters, although I just realize
that it is upside down – opps.
