Scrap Basket Paddle Wheel quilt

This is Margaret’s Scrap Basket Paddle Wheel quilt from one of Kim Brackett’s Scrap Basket books.  A gorgeous batik quilt, as Margaret loves working with batiks, this quilt was made as a wedding gift for Annabel and Harry in Scotland - very good family friends.

Margaret chose the Chantilly Lace pantograph by Norma Sharp and a totem green thread, they give this quilt a charming finish.

Love the look of this quilt with the grass and trees

From this day forward you shall not walk alone. My heart will be your shelter and my arms shall be your home.

Two Fig Tree quilts

Janet was enjoying her Fig Tree fabric and completed these two delicate looking quilts.  The first is made with a baby girl in mind.  The fabric arrangement reminds me (just a little) of subway tiles.

Quilted with the Popcorn pantograph by Jodi Beamish and a cream coloured thread.

The second is a larger quilt with 16 patches set in sashing.

This quilt was quilted with the Bountiful Feathers pantograph by Hermione Agee and a peach coloured thread.

I love how Janet pieced the back of this quilt with more Fig Tree fabrics.

Two sweet quilts

Made by Judy who is playing her way through her stash.  The first quilt is named Easter Spring, an excellent name for this quilt.

Judy picked the Shooting Star pantograph by Sue Schmieden and a lilac coloured thread.

This second darling little quilt is called Brights.

For the brights quilt we used Anne Bright’s pantograph ‘I Love It’ and a lovely blue thread called marine.
