Charla’s Wedding Quilt by Janet

Janet made this attractive neutral quilt for her daughter Sarah to give to her friend Charla as a wedding gift.  Janet’s daughter Sarah and Charla have been friends since kindergarten.

We thought the Calm Water pantograph by Anne Bright was just the right match to the calm/neutral character of the quilt.

A wedding quilt by Cindy

This lovely lilac quilt was made by Cindy as a wedding gift for the child of a friend, first of four to get married, Cindy says!  The quilt is from a pattern called BQ3 by Maple Island Quilts, however Cindy called hers The Wedding Quilt #1 - I guess she’s anticipating making more!

Cindy chose the Double Plume pantograph by Keryn Emmerson and a lilac coloured thread.

Here is a peek at the back of the quilt, where the quilting shows so nicely.

May you be free from cares and woes, when under this quilt you seek repose.

Cathie’s Quilt by Linda

Love the gentle colours in this star sampler pieced by Linda.  Linda made this quilt as a gift for her cousin Cathie to celebrate a job promotion.  What a kind and generous gift.

Linda chose the pantograph Rambler Rose by Meredith England, a beautiful compliment to this quilt and fabric.

The fabric that Linda chose for the quilt back is also a lovely compliment to the quilt’s front, and the Rambler Rose quilting shows so nicely.

A delicate beauty this quilt.
