Yellow Paintbox Blocks

It’s the last Saturday in Yellow for the Rainbow ScrapChallenge 2015.  I made a couple of Paintbox blocks (by Elizabeth Hartman blogging at Oh Fransson!) and now I have all the yellows that I need, just a few more blocks in other colours and I’ll be able to put the top together.

I did also get a few leaders and enders sewn and I finished all my little four patches in pink (January’s colour for the RSC), however I didn’t get a picture.

This morning I’m off to the quilt store to work on my Gravity Block of the Month!

Have a look at Soscrappy to see what others have done for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

A day patched with quilting seldom unravels.

Yellow Scrappy Trip Along Blocks

Checking through my notes and piles of blocks, I found that I needed three more Scrappy Trip Along blocks, check out Bonnie Hunter's tutorial on these blocks.  I’m making seven of each colour in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  Last night I got together with a few other quilters for an evening of sewing and completed the last three (photographed alongside the pile of already completed blocks).

It looks like I still have a couple of Paint Box blocks to make in yellow, hopefully for next Saturday.  Be sure to stop by Soscrappy to see other luscious yellow projects.

Any day spent sewing, is a good day!
