Nipika a quilt by Lorraine

Lorraine named this emerald and green king size quilt after a park near Radium Hot Springs, BC and I think her cabin near Radium is to be the quilts new home.  Lorraine used a pattern by Jane Hardy Miller called Rat Race, which I believe it is from Jane’s book French Braid Obsession.

The Blowing in the Wind pantograph by Irene Steele and a Mint coloured thread were just the right way to finish this quilt.

A good day at the cabin begins with the sunrise and ends with a smile.

Two lovely quilts by Janet

Janet likes orange, in fact I think she has a whole Pinterest board dedicated to the colour orange.  I wish I had the collection of oranges that she used in this vibrant Orange Triangle quilt.

The Spirals pantograph by Denise Schillinger and a lava coloured thread give just the right finishing touch to this vivid quilt.

Janet used up some left over triangles and added some Back Art, a great use of extra bits.

This bright and delightful quilt ‘Lime Logs’ is made in the Mile a Minute style.

The white sashing and borders really show off the Hydrangea pantograph and a celery coloured thread.  Sorry the image is a little blurry.

Go the extra mile, it’s never crowded.
