Rail Fence and Braid Quilt

Rail Fence Style Quilt

Two warm Autumn quilts in coordinating fabrics by Barb.  Barb choose Fall style pantographs for both quilts, the Rail Fence style quilt was quilted with the Blowing in the Wind pantograph by Irene Steele and we used the Falling leaves pantograph by Dave Hudson for the Braid style quilt.  They were quilted using a light olive thread.

Hug Snuggles and Snowflakes

Hug Snuggles

Gotta love these crisp bright quilts by Kathleen, made as gifts for ‘out of country’ family.  Kathleen is so generous with her quilt making.   This little X’s quilt was quilted with the panto Hug Snuggles by Beany Girl Quilts.  I like how it centered nicely on this quilt, with the X’s and O’s clear in the border.

Winter White Snowflake

This larger Christmas quilt was mostly quilted with the panto Winter White by Dave Hudson, however at Kathleen’s request we featured one large snowflake in each of the white squares, good idea Kathleen!

Allison’s Dolly Quilt

Dolly Quilt

Here is another special quilt made by Barb for her granddaughter Allison who Barb calls her little ‘Dolly’.   Allison’s dolly quilt was quilted with the Paper Dolls Pantograph by Patricia Ritter.  Somehow I missed getting a close-up of this quilt.

Did you know that a paper doll convention is held every year in the United States, with hundreds of attendees?

I never knew how much love my heart could hold ‘til someone called me Grandma.
