RSC - Farwell to Red

I like Angela’s title for the last Saturday of Red for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, so I borrowed it.

This week I worked on a couple of Paint Box Blocks, from Elizabeth Hartman’s quilt along.  I now have eight red and eight of most colours, only a few more to go and I will have the eighty blocks that I need.  After finishing my Paint Boxes I still felt like playing with red scraps so made couple of Slabs – from Cheryl Arkison and Amanda Jean Nyberg’s Sunday MorningQuilts book.  Then just a couple of leaders and enders in red to finish up.

This is blog post number 199, my next post will be a Giveaway to celebrate my 200th blog post.  I have a picture, just need to write a few words.

Wander by Soscrappy and check out all the lovey red blocks and projects for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

RSC - Red

Red is the colour of July for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, so I worked on a few red projects on my Friday evening of sewing.  A Scrappy Trip Along block, a couple of Wonky Churn Dash and a few leaders and enders.

Have a look at So Scrappy to see what others are doing for the RSC this week, perhaps you will be inspired to sew along with some of your scraps.

*** I am a couple of blog posts away from TWO Hundred blog posts and there will be a GIVEAWAY, so check back… hopefully in the next couple of days! ***
