Fire Escape a quilt by Deb

I finally get it, I have seen this quilt made up in a few different colourways and always love how it looks, however I never knew the name ‘Fire Escape’.  It makes sense, that’s exactly what it looks like. The pattern Fire Escape is by Terry Atkinson and I love the colours that Deb selected to make her eye-catching quilt.

Deb thought that the Blowin’ Wind pantograph by Jodi Beamish and a celery coloured thread were the proper finish to this lovely quilt top.

Another green fire escape.

A leaf fluttered in through the window this morning, as if supported by the rays of the sun, a bird settled on the fire escape, joy in the task of coffee, joy accompanied me as I walked. ~ Anais Nin

  1. I really like this pattern, too, Edith. Every one is very unique depending on the colors chosen . . . and it really does look like a fire escape! I never noticed that before!
