Going Green RSC

Soscrappy’s Angela has chosen green for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge for the month of August. 

 

For this first Saturday in August I made one more block for my Black and White Crazy quilt.  This is a project which has been sitting on the shelf for quite some time and for some reason I haven’t been motivated with it.  Each block has black on white, and white on black with a touch of colour, perhaps this month I can get a bunch of green done….

I also made a couple of slabs following Cheryl’s quilt ‘The missing U’ found in from CherylArkison and Amanda Jean Nyberg’s Sunday Morning Quilts book.

200th Blog Post - Giveaway!

It’s time for a Giveaway, this is my 200^th blog post so I decided to celebrate with a Giveaway!  There may be two giveaways if my Inch by Inch Quilting Facebook page reaches 100 likes.

Giveaway

The first guaranteed giveaway is a pattern called Dessert Tray by my friend Terry Morberg of Applepatch Designs, along with the pattern you will receive one charm pack and four mini charm packs to help you complete your quilt.  I quilted the original quilt for Terry and my name appears on the back of the pattern! Whoo Hoo, makes me feel famous!

There may be a second prize if my Inch by Inch Quilting Facebook page reaches 100 likes - it is so close with 89 likes as of today!

The second prize will be the Applepatch Designs pattern Buttermint along with a Jelly Roll, (which I’ll pick up when the magic number 100 appears).  I also quilted the original quilt for Terry.
