My
third grandson was born last night, so today he is the spotlight. Here is
the happy little fellow wearing the sleeper that his dad wore home from the
hospital (many years ago). This precious baby boy was born just in time, last
night on my mom - great-grandma Loretta's 81st
birthday! Well done Kevin and Skyla, a new brother for Owen and Mace.

Being
that this a quilting blog, I’ll show you his quilt (I still have a few inches to
hand sew on the binding). Mommy Skyla is going for an Owl theme, so I
found some cute fabric to use in the border and a complimentary flannel for the
back of the quilt.

Quilting
was done with the delightful popcorn pantograph by Jodi Beamish and a Hawaiian blue
thread.

May you touch
dragonflies and stars,
dance with fairies
and talk to the moon.
May you grow up
with love & gracious hearts & people who care.
Welcome to the
world little one. We’ve been waiting for you.
Every family has a
story, welcome to ours.
Congratulations - he is beautiful!
