Two Christmas quilts by Kathleen

Kathleen makes the most delightful quilts, many as Christmas time and mostly as gifts, often for nieces and nephews.

The first quilt Square in a Square, was quilted with one of Kathleen’s favourite pantographs, called Winter White by Dave Hudson.

I always find the back of Kathleen’s quilts a delight as she usually incorporates ‘back art’ of some sort and on this quilt how appropriate a square in a square.

Kathleen’s next quilt is a Christmas nine-patch and she thought it would be nice to meander in the nine-patches and put Snowflakes in the white squares, a great idea.

Once again some lovely ‘back art’.

Who wouldn’t love to be the recipient of these lovely Christmas quilts?

There's a great joy in my giving. It's thrilling. It's exhilarating. It's important to be a part of sharing. It is my love. It is my joy. ~ W. Clement Stone
