Janet, who particularly likes red and white quilts made this gorgeous Irish Chain Winter quilt. I just love the pure white border snowflake fabric in contrast with the red in the chain.

thought that a snowflake in the centers and the border with a meander in the
red chain would be a nice way to feature the white areas of the quilt, an
excellent idea.

I’d
love a quilt like this to decorate my house in the Winter season, one more to
put on my ‘to do’ list.
Snowflakes are one of nature’s
most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick
together.
