Lilac Baby Quilt

Lilac Baby Quilt

Well this being tax season, I’ve been busy gathering numbers for my bookkeeper and tax specialist (both quilters)!  Behind the scenes I’m working on Blog posts; so it’s time to get another picture and post up.

This lovely little quilt made by Terry Morberg of ApplepatchDesigns was made for a quilt shop sample.  Of course as soon as everyone saw this cutie, the quilt shop sold out of the fabric.  It is quilted with the Double Plume Pantograph by Keryn Emerson.

I can hardly wait till my lilacs bloom to smell their lovely fragrance.  The first written use of lilac as a colour name in English was in 1775.

  1. I can see why the fabric sold out so fast - it's awesome. I also really love lilac as well as lavender. You did a great job quilting it. I hear you about tax time - every year I say I'm going to stay organized and guess what - every year is still the same. Oh well - life it good.
