Paint Box – Pink

Paint Box Quilt Blocks

More Pink Paint Box blocks following the Oh Fransson! quilt along.  Last year I did a couple of Paint Box blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge and I’m hoping to get a whole set done this year.

Scrap management

As well as sewing my Paint Box Blocks I decided to do more scrap management.  Before putting fabric back in my stash I decide first if it is a big enough piece to keep intact for another project or if I can cut the bits that are left into pieces that will be easy to work with in future quilt blocks.  I have cut my pinks this week into strips of various sized, some five inch squares to be used in a probable Disappearing Nine Patch and a few small and large tumblers for upcoming quilts.

There are so many great pink scrappy projects happening in blog land, have a look at soscrappy to see what others are doing this week.

Quilters know when to hold’em and when to fold’em.

Small Blog Meet 2013

I have linked with Small Blog Meet and I think this is the last year I will qualify as my blog membership is growing. A BIG THANK YOU to my blog followers!  If you are a blogger and have fewer than 50 followers and would like more people to visit your blog pop over to Lily's Blog and get the Linky and read all about it on her Tuesday, January 1st blog.  Or you can click on the link on the right just under Quilting Bloggers.

While you are there check out some of the Small Blogger links to see what other quilters are blogging about.

In the crazy quilt of life, I'm glad you're in my block of friends.
