Rainbow of Hearts - Pink

Pink Heart Quilt Blocks

I inherited a few heart blocks from a friend and decided that I would expand the collection into a rainbow of hearts so that I could participate in the RainbowScrap Challenge 2013 with them.

Scrap Management

Last Saturday for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge I was impressed with Sheila's blog post at Sew Cook and Travel who as well as making some lovely pink blocks also cut some pink tumblers, so I decided to do some scrap management as well, and cut a few strips, some large and small tumblers, and a square for future scrap projects that I have in mind.

Take a minute to be inspired; drop by Soscrappy to see what others have done with pink this week, the number of participants has grown since last year.

    1. Thanks Angela, I just realize that the hearts are looking a bit dark in the photo, they are really a bright pink, I was in a hurry to post as we were on our way out to my husbands company Christmas party.

    1. Thanks Connie, so far I'm cutting strips, tumblers and squares, I might want to find a small shape or square as well, 'cause I have a whole drawer full of little bits.
