An
appropriate name for this delicious quilt. The Carmel Kisses block (the
one you see in each corner of the quilt and running diagonally through the
quilt) was available once a month at Freckles Quilt Shop as part of the
Tuesday Two Times Toonie program. The block was released on a Tuesday and
it cost $4.00 or two toonies (what we call our two dollar coin in
Canada). All the money collected was donated to a couple of Calgary high
schools to go toward helping students in need. Once the year was finished
a complimentary block, a layout idea and a borders kit or pattern was made
available. As always an impeccable job Leanne!

decided to quilt Leanne’s quilt with the Paisley max pantograph by Jodi Beamish
and a Light Tan thread.
