I’ve accomplished my April goal to complete the top of Richard’s Skull quilt.
I was having a bit of trouble getting this picture, trying to avoid my shadow and dealing with a slight breeze. Here's a close up so you can enjoy some of the fabrics.
I thought I might continue and piece all the leftover bits of the skull fabric together for a backing, and then my husband got the idea that I should make them into the shape of a skull, so it’s going to be a little more work than expected. I liked his idea and drew up a picture on some graph paper of a pixelated skull and have begun cutting.
Reaching my goal allows me to participate in Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal, and in the next few days I'll be posting my goal
for May.

Great job Edith! Love your hubby's idea for the leftover fabrics.
