The Buck Stops Here

The Buck Stops Here Quilt

A bouquet of fabrics that coordinated well together set in a scrappy cream coloured background.  Lynda accented her quilt in green and finished it with a red border.  It was quilted with the Rambler Rose pantograph by Meredith England using a wheat variegated thread.  It’s always a pleasure to work on Lynda’s quilts, her piecing is impeccable and she always has ample backing.  I request the backing to be at least four inches bigger than the quilt top on all four sides, Lynda is always generous – makes my job easier.

Lynda’s quilt got its name from a program at Freckles Quilt Shop.  After paying your initial fee all you had to do was come in and collect your package of fabric to make six new blocks each month, nothing more to pay.

When life hands you scraps, make a quilt.

  1. Nice quilt. I love the scrappy look. What design did you do for the quilting?

    1. Thanks Terri, I used the pantograph called Rambler Rose by Meredith England. If you click on the picture of the quilt you can see it a bit better, I am also starting to take close-up pictures of quilts so that you can see the actually quilting.
