Orange Paintbox Blocks

Orange Paintbox quilt blocks

Orange was the colour of my Friday evening sewing as I wanted to have something to show for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge today.  I pieced these two little orange blocks from Elizabeth Hartman’s Paintbox quilt along on her blog Oh Fransson!

Back Art
But that’s not all, still on the theme of orange, I also pieced a back for a quilt with this lovely orange and pink roses fabric, I was a little short so found a couple of scraps in my stash and added some back art.

Make sure you take a minute to see what others have done for the last week of orange at soscrappy.

I have come to understand that every day is something to cherish.Kerri Strug

  1. Love your paintbox blocks! Sometimes simple arrangements are the best way to show off fabric. Still amazed at the diversity of orange fabrics this month!

  3. Glad you were able to find some orange scraps. The back of your quilt is perfect. Always such a fun place to move out bits of the stash.
