Scrappy Trip Along in Green

To participate in the last Saturday of green for soscrappy’s Rainbow Scrap Challenge I made seven Scrappy Trip Along blocks.

Check out Bonnie Hunter’s tutorial for instructions on making this relatively quick and easy block.  I’ve also posted a bunch of links to other scrappytripalong pictures on my Rainbow ScrapChallenge Pink January blog post.

I did a little Green scrap management.

And then there is a pile of green fabric that needs to be managed.

This month helped put a small dent in my green scraps now I’m looking forward to seeing what colour Angela at soscrappy picks for next month’s RainbowScrap Challenge.

Paris in the Fall

Gloria used the French General fabric by Moda to make this beautiful Paris in the Fall quilt, it was a block of the month project at a local quilt shop.

We used the ‘Double Plume’ pantograph by Keryn Emmerson and a Glide thread called Leather.

I love the detail in the sashing and borders.  It is so warm and inviting, makes me just want to cuddle up.
