Mary Anne made this charming blue and white quilt for her Summer Cabin. I really like the scrappiness of this quilt and of course I love blue and white together. The pattern can be found in Better Homes and Gardens, American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine, February 2000. It is called Birds in the Air by quiltmaker Jill Reber.

Mary Anne was busy and also finished two Mumbo Gumbo quilts (by Pie in the Sky Designs), as gifts for friends at the cabin. Mary Anne modified the design a bit, using the blocks from one Mumbo Gumbo pattern and adding and accent and a border and making two quilts. Brilliant!

The Popcorn pantograph was also used to quilt Mumbo Gumbo quilts, and they were quilted with Rainbow variegated thread. I'll have to see if I can talk Mary Anne into another Pantograph next time she brings me a quilt.
