Yellow Paintbox Blocks

It’s the last Saturday in Yellow for the Rainbow ScrapChallenge 2015.  I made a couple of Paintbox blocks (by Elizabeth Hartman blogging at Oh Fransson!) and now I have all the yellows that I need, just a few more blocks in other colours and I’ll be able to put the top together.

I did also get a few leaders and enders sewn and I finished all my little four patches in pink (January’s colour for the RSC), however I didn’t get a picture.
This morning I’m off to the quilt store to work on my Gravity Block of the Month!

Have a look at Soscrappy to see what others have done for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

A day patched with quilting seldom unravels.

  1. Oooh I like these. I always love these types of blocks.

  2. Love your yellows - they seem more mellow than mine.
    Have fun with Gravity.

  3. Can't wait to see your paintbox blocks all together!

  4. That's a good block for scrappy fun. What size did yours finish at?

  5. You've got some wonderful fabrics in your buttery YELLOW blocks! I'm beginning to look forward to a new Color of the Month. I hope it's... :o))

  6. What a great quilt those paintbox blocks are going to make!

  7. I have always liked those quilt blocks. I'm ready to play with another color. How about you?

  8. I've never seen paint box blocks before. There's another tutorial I have to check out.
I just read your first two Tuesday tips on Mile a Minute blocks and I'm now following your blog so I don't miss any more.
