Yellow Rainbow Rows beginning

I thought I was coming to the end of most of my RainbowScrap Challenge quilts blocks, so I was happy to see a quilt that I love in the April 2015 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting which is scrappy and rainbow.  It’s called Rainbow Rows designed by Lissa Alexander.  You can see a picture here.

Well I rummaged through my yellow and low volume scraps and made up a bunch of little components of the block.

I also realized that I still have a few yellow blocks of rainbow projects in process to work on.  Should keep me busy for the next couple of Saturday’s.

Please check out Soscrappy’s blog to see what others have posted on this bright sunshiny Saturday.

Sometimes you just have to create your own sunshine!

  7. That's a lot of 4-patches! I always hate making those, so I admire people who take them on. Have fun with the rest of the quilt!

  10. Tomorrow I plan to get out all of the yellow in my boxes of 2 1/4 inch cut squares and start making colored 4 patches. I wish I had thought of making with them before now!
