This is my second set of these cute leaf potholders, as I
prepare for an Artisan sale. If I keep
on track and make a set each month, I should be somewhat prepared for the
November sale. Yellow is the colour of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, so here they are in yellow.
You can see my red leaves here, and you will find the leaf
potholder pattern at Patchwork Pottery.
So far I’m able to work from my fabric scraps and stash, and
found these lovely yellows for the back and a pretty dot for the binding.
So many cute buttons to choose from my button jars.
We do see yellow leaves in nature and at the garden centre,
however most are seen in Autumn.
This
is the season she will make beautiful things. Not perfect things, but honest
things that speak to all she has been created to be. ~ Morgan Harper Nicholls.
