Purple Hearts |
This week I had fun sorting through my purple scraps and picking
fabrics to make my little purple hearts for this Saturday’s Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Then my Friday evening was
spent sewing the little hearts. My daughter’s
favourite colour is purple, and she loves hearts, I believe she has claimed
this quilt - I did tell her that this is part of a bigger Rainbow of Hearts
quilt.

Paint Box & ScrappyTripAlong ready to go |
After I got the little hearts pieced I continued to sort and
cut purple scraps (where did they all come from?) for my paintbox and scrappytripalong blocks
for the upcoming Saturday’s of February.
There is also a pile of purple scraps waiting to be managed, maybe next
week.

ReplyDeleteEdith ... I love your purple heart blocks. I may have to make a few of these myself. I made a two scrappy heart blcoks last month and one of them has gone into the backing of another quilt, but I am thinking if I make a purple one I will be on my way to making a scrappy rainbow heart quilt. Thanks for the inspiration.
