Orange...

… is the colour of the month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

On Friday evening I facilitated a Finishing School (class) and was able to spend a little time working on Orange Hearts for my Rainbow of Hearts Quilt, I got a good start on them and as you can see there are some hearts in progress.

I was a little concerned about the colour orange, would I have enough scraps, will I be able to do all my Rainbow projects this month?  I think I’m going to be okay, here is what I found.

Please have a look at my March 8 blog post as I am hosting a Giveaway and have also linked to the Quilt Gallery post listing over 200 quilt bloggers who are also hosting giveaways.

This quote kind of reminds me of my stash...

    1. Tina Marie, I teach at Out of Hand in Lakeview. I have two classes coming up one in April (11 & 25) called 'Low Volume - High Impact' and then a Quilt Primer in May (21 eve. and 25 & 26 all day). I also have one 'Finishing School' a month on a Friday evening. I have a Quilt Primer blog post at the beginning of March and Sneak a Peek in January which shows a glimpse of the Low Volume quilt I call Pieceful Rainbow. I'd love to meet up in a future class, I love teaching!

    1. Sandra-Kay, I inherited a few hearts from a friend and I am just copying her block, hers were originally paper-pieced. I've done some measuring and keep adjusting as I go. Do you paper piece? I could photocopy a block and send it to you via e-mail.
