Blair’s quilt, a caring gift from her colleagues

I was contacted by Blair’s co-workers, they had pieced a quilt to give to her, and they were looking for a longarm quilter.  Her team-mates were looking for a way to show their support, as Blair was off work with a diagnosis of cancer.  Here are some pictures from Blair’s quilt.

Each block has special significance whether a picture, a saying or the fabric that is used.

Blair’s little boy - Luca.

The wonderful news – Blair is back at work and doing fantastic!

Such a kind and thoughtful gift this quilt is, with good wishes and healing thoughts sewn into every stitch.

Our lives are like quilts bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.

  1. I'm sure there were a number of prayers for her Edith and you have to know all the positive energy in this quilt would have helped as well. The ladies and you did an amazing job - sooooo sweeet!
