Antique Cheddar

Rhonda and her mom Sandra made this quilt for Rhonda’s sister Dawn.  The three ladies are very close and like to do things, especially crafting, together so it was sometimes difficult for Rhonda and her mom to find the time to secretly work on this very large quilt.

I think they were so happy when they could finally bring it to me for quilting (no more hiding).  We decided that the Entangle pantograph by Hermione Agee was a nice compliment to the quilt pattern.  Quilted with a Light Turquoise Glide thread.

I love the backing fabric they picked for this quilt, and how it looks with the quilting pattern as well.

 

Rhonda’s sister (and Sandra’s daughter) Dawn was absolutely delighted and surprised with this beautiful quilt gift.
