Tranquility

This Wonky Nine-patch quilt was made by Joan as a wedding gift for Mark and Lily.  Joan makes a quilt for each of her nieces and nephews when they get married.

I love the detail in the borders of this quilt.
 

We picked a pantograph called drip and a Glide thread called Persian (sort of emerald green/blue).
 

Joan always prints lovely labels and incorporates them into the back of the quilt, so they get quilted right into the quilt, a great way to make it permanent.  As you can see this quilt was completed a couple of years ago, and I’m somewhat behind in my blogging.
 

Here is a close-up of the saying, and I’m thinking Aunty Joan’s blessing for this marriage.
