I have finished my
Rainbow Rows quilt. This pattern is by Lissa
Alexander, found in the
April 2015 edition of American Patchwork & Quilting. I pieced many of the little blocks over the past year (or more) while sewing
my way through the rainbow with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.
I absolutely loved the process of this quilt, the little
scraps that I got to use, the scrappy background and the colours.
Quilted with the Double Plume pantograph by Keryn Emmerson.
I decided to piece the back, buying a couple of bigger
pieces and using some of my stash as well.
And I added a label, I’m trying to remember to do this for
every quilt.
My husband and I are now enjoying it on our bed.
Chains do not hold a
marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew
people together through the years.
