This week for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge I made the blocks
for the 2018 Sampler called Squared Away.
Mari, from The Academic Quilter who has written up the
instructions for this block says “This is actually a very old block with
several names, called 4X Star in the Ladies' Art Company catalogue in
1895. It appears again as a Carrie Hall block in 1935, and here it is in
our quilt in 2018.”
I really enjoyed working with yellow, it’s so bright and
cheery.
Yellow is our colour for the month of April, and there are
many lovely projects on the go, you can have a look at them by visiting Soscrappy, enjoy.
Thanks for stopping by.
Long live the sun, which gives us such beautiful color.
