Les’ Quilt

Beatrice made this brown with blue (or steely grey) quilt for Les, lucky Les to receive this labour of love. 

I love her combination of colours. 

We used a Glide thread called Titanium, a gentle addition and contrast to the chocolate fabrics.   For the quilting Beatrice chose the Trellis pantograph set by Patricia E. Ritter, which included a trellis for the edges.  

A circular trellis for the center of the squares. 

And a  little corner trellis. 

Backed with a chocolate brown flannel.
