I didn’t take down any notes on the story of these quilts
which Roberta brought me in a November (while I was still quilting for customers), I’m sure they were meant to be Christmas
gifts for Victoria and Simon.
Victoria’s quilt.
Quilted with the Daisies Galore pantograph by Irene Steele
and a mint coloured thread.
Roberta used the soft minky fabric for the back of Victoria’s
quilt.
Simon’s quilt.
Quilted with the Easy Orange Peel pantograph by Patricia
Ritter and a green coloured Glide thread called Turf.
Simon’s quilt was also backed with the cuddly minky fabric.
The best kind of sleep beneath heaven above is under a quilt handmade
with love.
